You know when you were younger, people would try to scare you by saying if you eat fruits and swallow the seeds, it will grow out from inside you?!
YES! I was scared too. But when I grew up, I found out it's not true, however that story is a great inspiration to me now...
As for the title Flavor of Life, as I grow older, I realize nothing lasts, and life goes on. There is hope, then there is disappointment, happy along with sad, just like a tangerine, it's sweet but it's sour as well. So I came to think, the flavor of life is bittersweet.

Visually, I love the collage feel to your piece. I think you took advantage of us having to us different types of animation and you can tell that you used more than one type. I think your sound was also went along with your concept. I don't think that your sound really cued anything that happened in your piece but it doesn't seem like that's what you were going for.
good job :)
Quan // I must start by saying I think your animation was my favorite in the entire class. You absolutely had my attention for the full 30 seconds. The gracefulness of the animation was visually pleasing and the way in which the vines grew from the girls mouth was extremely nice. I found myself wanting the animation to continue past the 30 second time. I can see this video being applied as a music video. Very visually appealing and the concept is exceptionally strong. I appreciate the toned down colors (browns, grays, blacks) with the subtle bursts of bright colors towards the end. The pace of the animation is also spot on. You capture our attention and never allow us to stray which is a very good thing! Overall, job well done. I would love to see more animations from you in the future in a style similar to this one.
quan, i know i dont have to comment on yours but i'm going to do it anyways. first off you did a great job. the piece you created is so refreshing and tastefully done. it works visually that the animation so quickly changes from image to hand rendered drawings. the composition is paced well and the sound track follows accordingly. the music is a bit unexpected but works well and keeps the animation interesting. you had a great idea and i feel you conveyed your message in a unique and interesting way.
