mitchell you put us all to shame! great job on your site. it had a very professional, yet playful look to it. the one thing i felt worked very well for you is the fact that you showed a lot of worked, yet the layout was organized well, making it not feel too overwhelming. the color scheme along with the images you used really enhanced your piece, and made me want to click through all your work. great job.
Your site looks very professional and cleverly done. Really, great job! The navigation is very clear, and it is very easy to get around the site. One of my favorite parts is the hide option and then the messages from the site, very funny.
The bright colors really made parts of the site pop, (the parts that were meant to attract the viewer's attention. The splash of colors in the background bring out the "Latest Projects" area on the homepage, (especially the second picture with the colorful splotches of paint that was a link to the posters page.
On the subject of the individual pages for the art, the long rectangles with a sample of each work and the stats next to it REALLy works well in my opinion. It just looks good and it makes a user want to click on each photo to see more.
You had all of the information very accessible. It was not difficult at all to find where your contact information or more artwork was.
To be honest I don't have any negative criticism. The site was interesting, it navigated well, and it had a feel to it that was aesthetically pleasing/looked very professional. Keep up the awesome work!
